BASIC PRINCIPLE

It is important to understand the basic nature of the organization. CILS is commited to the basic nature of the organization.CILS is commited to the spread of vocational education. It conducts its operations on self sustainable basis and generates ite own recourses. All the brances are expected to remember this and reflect this in their attitudes towards choice of work and in its implementation.

CILS associates are expected to understand the social needs of their area and center according to such needs. The premises should be selected so that they are approachable, and office timing should be regularly maintained. Attempts should be made to establsh CILS as a responsible organization in the area.

CENTRE LAYOUT AND INFRASTRUCTURE

The requirement of space is defined in the affiliation scheme. Each branch is expected to adhere to the norms. The furniture should be selected such that it is convenient for students to study . Modern type of (fiber glasses) boards should be used for writing and audio-vedio set up should be employed in training. The office room, machine room and class room should be separately laid out. They should be decorated with posters and display boards.

In short the center should be decent and joyful and should be able to attract the students. It should have all the basic amenties for promoting quality studies.

ATCC MANAGEMENT

The following are important for a successful center.

Proper machine room and class room

Qualified and communicative faculty.

Polite and persuasive handling of students.

Proper publicity and social orientation/linkages.

Proper reporting and communication to the head office.

STUDENTS ENQUIRY AND COUNSELING

THE PROCEDURE FOR STUDENTS ENQUIRY AND COUNSELLING HAS BEEN EXPLAINED EARLIER also. Complete information should be given to student when he visits the ATCC and if required proper counseling for selection of course should be conducted with the support of proper counselor

FACULTY

The branches are expected to keep qualified faculty which also has practical orientation/experience. The proposed qualifications are:

i.

P.G./ MBBS/ BHMS/ BAMS/ MBA (Experienced medical graduate for paramedical trainings)

ii.

P.G.D. (for practical's and certificates courses in computer.)

iii.

Certificate holder for other training and livelihood programs

In case of university courses, faculty one level above the course being taught,should be employed..

RESOURCE GROUP

In addition to the regular faculty staff and part time faculty. CILS also insists on building up a resources group around each branches. This includes the officials, influential persons of the locality, professioals working in other organizations, good teacher and communicators who could help in increasing the influence of the society and can also find creative outlet in CILS activies. They should be involved in various activites from time to time. Workshops, awareness programs, seminar should also be organized time to time.
